Fur Seals males can weigh up to 450 pounds and can be up to four times larger than the female. Adult male's are silvery-gray with a thick mane and long hair. Females are gray to brownish with creamy throats and cheeks. About 1 out of 800 Fur Seals are " Blonde" variety, with markedly yellow of cream colored fur. They most eat krill, fish and some squids.
